Congrats to the 10Us on their 2nd place finish in a 5-4 championship battle vs Wyoming in the Belgrade Woodbat Tournament.  Another fantastic finish for these young ballplayers!

11Us Battle in Helena Father's Day Tournament

Helena Father's Day Tournament taken by Lightning!

Congrats to all five Lightning teams as they competed well this past weekend in Helena at the 2016 Father's Day Tournament!  The 10U Lightning team took home the championship with a 15-5 victory over the Belgrade Bandits in the chipper.  The 11Us lost in the semi-finals 12-11 to the Missoula Bandits as did the 12Us 14-4 also to the Bandits.  The 13Us lost in the quarterfinals after a 3-0 pool play showing and the 9Us battled well and gained valuable tournament experience along the way.  Congrats to all 65 of our Lightning all-stars and 13 coaches!

12Us Battle to Extra Inning 2nd-Place Finish at Helena Slugfest

Congrats to Coach Bruk and his 12U Lightning on their 2nd place finish at the 2016 Helena Slugfest. Undefeated going into the championship game, the Butte Rats came back and won 8-7 over the Lightning in 8 innings in a dramatic walk-off home-run finish.
